As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at AppScale, you will be responsible for identifying, developing and securing new business leads. The ideal candidate will bring a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and a desire to learn every day.

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for prospecting and qualifying new sales leads
  • Contacting potential customers by telephone and email to secure sales appointments
  • Convert calls/contacts to appointments
  • Accurately record calls made and appointments set in our Hubspot CRM
  • Cultivate prospects through regular follow up and contact
Requirements:
  • Strong work ethic, high integrity and eagerness to learn
  • Excellent phone/email etiquette and communication skills
  • Ability to comfortably discuss technical topics with prospects and leads
  • Driven and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Bachelor’s degree (ideally from a top tier university) or equivalent work experience
  • Experience with inside sales and/or appointment setting a plus
  • Knowledge of the cloud computing/PaaS landscape a plus
