Inside Sales Representative

AppScale Systems (Santa Barbara, CA)

We’re looking for a motivated individual with experience selling technology solutions to join AppScale Systems as an Inside Sales Representative. If you’re a sales professional who’s excited about driving key strategic and operational initiatives to help mid-to-large enterprises work better and faster using AppScale, we’d love to talk!

  • Manage the full sales cycle, from building awareness and generating leads to communicating AppScale’s value proposition to customers and closing deals
  • Build and manage a sales pipeline while growing successful client relationships from initial contact to point of sale
  • Evaluate opportunities to increase customer satisfaction, sales, and retention within a book of business
  • Deliver awe-inspiring product demos, provide insightful technical answers, and recommend creative ways to get the most out of the AppScale platform
  • Be the voice of the customer to the product team
  • Help scale processes including lead generation, presentation, negotiation, recruiting, and more
  • Manage, track, and report all sales activities and results with Salesforce
  • 2+ years of client-facing experience
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Team player with excellent collaboration skills to build relationships across the company
  • Results driven while able to cultivate long-lasting relationships with clients across a multitude of industries
  • Fearless attitude to try new processes and iterate to scale a global sales engine
  • Prior experience at Internet or PaaS companies is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree, ideally from a top-tier university, or equivalent work experience
